So a colleague declares we gotta check out Google Wave, which basically makes everything perfect, cures cancer and solves world hunger. Actually, it doesn't even do what it's supposed to and it crashed. I come back and here's the little message on the screen. A little dropdown panel, with a text field and some form of a pop culture reference (Scotty? Star Trek?) to make it all go down easier.
Yes, that was me typing "I have no idea" in the response.
Another in my series of public error messages. Here in the window of a seasonally decorated gourmet shop one monitor seems to be behaving well, while another one went (sorry for the pun) 'out to lunch' in a blue screen of death. I wonder if there was a bug in the food it was displaying. (pun intended)
You've heard that marketers are trying to shove a message anywhere they can and that includes while you're stuck pumping gas into your planet-destroying internal combustion device. Alas PumpTopTV recombined a PC with a TV and included Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Gasoline Edition. I guess the fumes were getting to the browser because I caught this error message right over the actual video that played in the background.
